Training Expectations

All University of Calgary employees must complete the following modules:

• Occupational Health & Safety Orientation
• Hazard Assessment Training      
• WHMIS 2015
• Incident Reporting and Investigation Training
• Harassment and Violence Awareness training

Training records should be kept in lab binders. All research assistants and students should be aware of potential job risks. Ensure you go over the position hazard assessment for your positions or lab area.

Students and research assistants who will be working in labs with chemicals must attend a laboratory safety training course.
