Bray Jamieson wins 2022 Brian Grant Essay Contest

The Department of Philosophy would like to announce that Bray Jamieson has won the 2022 Brian Grant Undergraduate Essay Contest for their "Paper outlining an objection to Marx.” 

The annual essay contest runs in the winter term, and is open to undergraduate students in any discipline at the University of Calgary. Each year, a committee of three Department of Philosophy faculty members reviews all entries via an anonymous judging process.

The winner of the essay contest is nominated for the Brian Grant Undergraduate Award, established in honour of Dr. Brian Grant, professor of Philosophy at the University of Calgary from 1968-2007.
