Nicole Letourneau recognized with national research award by CASN
Congratulations to Nicole Letourneau!
Professor and ACHF Chair in Parent-Infant Mental Health Nicole Letourneau has been recognized with the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) 2017 Excellence in Nursing Research Award. This national award celebrates those with sustained research activity that has relevance to nursing practice, education and research or policy development and overall leadership in strengthening the profile of nursing research within academic, service and non-profit sector organizations.
University of Calgary in Qatar dean, Deb White, was a nominee for the CASN Excellence in Nursing Administration Award.
Letourneau was also the recipient, in 2015, of the CARNA Excellence in Nursing Research Award. She joins others from the faculty who have received CASN awards: Nancy Moules (2015 Excellence in Nursing Education), Dianne Tapp (2015 Academic Excellence), Kathryn King-Shier (2012 Excellence in Nursing Research) and Professor Emerita Lorraine Watson (2011 Academic Excellence).
Letourneau will receive the award at CASN's annual awards reception in Ottawa on Nov. 20, 2017.
