Admission Requirements

Admission is highly competitive. Only the most promising applicants are admitted.

Students accepted into our program demonstrate an interest in interdisciplinary research in art, dance, drama, design or music and computer science. As part of the admissions process, students are asked to submit transcripts from all other programs attended, letters of reference, a statement of research purpose, a CV, and a portfolio.

Master of Science (MSc)

Application

As a prospective student, you should become familiar with the research focus of our program's faculty. Every student must secure two supervisors (one from the Department of Computer Science and one from either the Faculty of Environmental Design, the Department of Art, the Department of English, or the School of Creative and Performing Arts.) Contact faculty members whose research aligns with your own interests. A list of our faculty can be found on our contacts page.

Be prepared to provide:

  • A short (one page) statement of why you are interested in the program
  • Whether you would be a master's or PhD student
  • A creative portfolio that shows your work (document or link)
  • A curriculum vitae
