Message from the Director, Dr. Dan Shugar
Welcome to the Environmental Science Program (ENSC) at the University of Calgary! As an undergraduate program, we are focused on student experience. Our aim is to provide students with a sound understanding of the concentration of their choice (biology, chemistry, geography, geoscience, physics or statistics) and to provide students with experience in gaining critical skills in gathering and interpreting diverse data pertinent to environmental issues. Environmental scientists are in demand and we want our graduates to make positive ongoing contributions to solving problems. In addition, our program's chemistry concentration was recently awarded accreditation by the Chemical Society of Canada. Our program is friendly and interactive. We welcome your ideas and energy for maintaining excellence.
