  • Elemental and isotope ratio analysis (MP-AES, ICP-QMS, ICP-SFMS, MC ICP-MS, TIMS)
  • Development of methods for the sample preparation for isotope-amount ratio analysis
  • Development and application of advanced analytical methods
  • Development of novel protocols to assess traditional (e.g., B, Sr, Pb, Nd) and non-traditional (e.g., Zn, Mo, Pt, Ti) isotope ratios 
  • Study of emerging contaminants in the environment with a current focus on technology-critical elements (TCE)
  • Analysis of TCE and critical raw materials in the context of sustainable resource management
  •  Aquatic and terrestrial ecosystem research (tracing via isotope ratio analysis)
