Have you and your team developed an innovative project, practical research study, or impactful AI/data-driven solution that deserves global recognition?
The 3rd International Virtual Data Science and Analytics Conference for Students 2026 invites student teams from universities and colleges across the world to participate in a dynamic international platform designed to showcase emerging talent, foster collaborative innovation, and connect theory with real-world global applications.
Hosted by Dr. Andy Asare at the University of Calgary, this annual conference brings together students, academics, industry professionals, and policy voices to explore how inclusive AI, data science, and analytics can drive transformative impact across disciplines, industries, and borders.
This year’s conference theme, Driving Global Impact Through Inclusive AI, Data Science, and Analytics Pathways: Bridging Theory, Practice, and Opportunity Across Borders challenges participants to present innovative data-driven solutions that address pressing global issues while promoting equitable access, interdisciplinary collaboration, and practical pathways for the future of analytics and AI.

Who Can Apply to Present?
This conference presentation is open to: Post-secondary students (undergraduate and graduate) from all disciplines worldwide.
Students from Data Science, Computer Science, Business, Health, Education, Social Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Science, and related fields are especially encouraged to submit. Group/team presentations are highly encouraged to foster collaborative and interdisciplinary engagement.
In addition, industry professionals, practitioners, faculty members, and data science experts are highly encouraged to register as conference attendees to engage with student presenters, share professional insights, and contribute to meaningful dialogue on the practical future of AI, data science, and analytics.

Welcome Remarks: Keynote Address: |
| Student Group Presentation Sessions (1 hour 40 minutes) |
| Format: There will be 10 parallel breakout sessions with three groups in each break-out session. Each group will present for 20 minutes (15 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A). There will be 25 minutes of networking and cross-institutional discussion following each breakout cycle. This format is intentionally designed to maximize peer learning, international exposure, interdisciplinary dialogue, and collaborative networking. |
| Global Expert Panel Discussion and Interactive Q&A (50 minutes) |
| Theme: "From Access to Impact: Building Inclusive Global AI, Data Science, and Analytics Ecosystems Across Borders". This high-level strategic panel will bring together voices from academia, industry, policy, and emerging scholarship to discuss the future of equitable AI and analytics opportunity creation worldwide. Proposed panelists: University Leader, Industry AI/Data Science Executive, Government / Digital Policy Expert, Global South Academic Partner, Responsible AI / EDI Scholar and Young Researcher or Student Innovator. The panel will critically examine: AI Access Inequities, Inclusive Curriculum Pathways, Employability and Workforce Gaps, Cross-Border Partnerships, and Global Innovation Ecosystems. |
