Chemistry Students’ Chapter (CSC)

The Chemistry Students’ Chapter is the University of Calgary’s chemistry club. We are affiliated with the Department of Chemistry and the Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC). The CSC commits to enriching the chemistry experience at the University of Calgary and fostering friendships that will last a lifetime.

Chemists for Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (UCalgary CIDE)

UCalgary Chemists for Inclusion, Diversity and Equity referred to as “UCalgary CIDE” is a Chapter of Canadians Working for Inclusivity in Chemical Sciences, Engineering, and Technology (CWIC) network. The purpose of UCalgary CIDE is to promote inclusivity, diversity and equity in the chemical sciences and engineering by connecting their members (this includes students, postdoctoral researchers, staff, faculty, or otherwise), as well as by connecting with other CWIC Chapters across Canada.

The University of Calgary Environmental Science Students Association (ESSA) is a student union sanctioned club. We provide academic services and social events to current, prospective and past students of the UCalgary environmental science program.

The University of Calgary nanoGroup is a student-led organization founded in 2013 with one central focus: to cultivate and support the nanotechnology community at the University of Calgary Campus. We strive to engage students in a variety of nano-related activities – colloquia, symposiums, outreach programs, entrepreneurial pursuits and networking with local industry.

Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) is a University of Calgary student organization dedicated to supporting and encouraging women who are interested or engaged in science or engineering careers.
