  • International Students- August 15 (For Masters in data Science and Analytics Only)
  • Domestic Students- November 1 (For Certificate in Data Science and Analytics Only- Laddering into Graduate Diploma and Masters degree)


Fall 2025

  • Domestic Students- May 1

* Please note: Domestic students must submit an application to the Certificate, following the laddered pathway toward the Master. International students will submit an application to the Master.

Quantum Computing Admission Requirements

Four-years bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.

  • A minimum admission grade point average of 3.00 on a four-point scale or equivalent, calculated on the last 60 units (20 half-course equivalents) completed in your 4-year Bachelor’s degree (please note that the GPA from Graduate degrees is not included).. 
  • Successful completion of the following undergraduate courses, with at least a “B” grade or equivalent: 
    • Linear Algebra
    • Computer Programming.
  • Demonstration of English Language Proficiency (ELP)  

Data Science and Analytics Admission Requirements

  • A minimum admission grade point average of 3.00 on a four-point scale or equivalent, calculated on the last 60 units (20 half-course equivalents) completed in your 4-year Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Successful completion of the following undergraduate courses, with at least a “B” grade or equivalent: 
    • one course in computer programming, 
    • one course in statistics or equivalent, and 
    • one course in either calculus or linear algebra or equivalent. 
  • Demonstration of English Language Proficiency (ELP)  

Information Security and Privacy Admission Requirements

  • A minimum admission grade point average of 3.00 on a four-point scale or equivalent, calculated on the last 60 units (20 half-course equivalents) completed in your 4-year Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Successful completion of the following undergraduate courses, with at least a “B” grade or equivalent: 
    • Computer programming (e.g., CPSC 233) 
    • Algorithms and data structures (e.g., CPSC 331) 
    • Either Operating systems (e.g., CPSC 457); OR Computer networks (e.g., CPSC 441)  
  • Demonstration of English Language Proficiency (ELP)
