Workshop

The Workshop has highly skilled technicians who have access to an excellent complement of machine tools providing complete CNC and manual machine shop services, computer-aided design and welding. The technical staff have experience on campus and a thorough knowledge of University needs. Assistance can be provided at any stage of a project, from design through selection of materials and process of fabrication.

Glass Shop

The Glass Shop offers a range of specialized services, including:

1. Custom Research Equipment: Design and fabrication of custom research equipment tailored to specific laboratory or experiment requirements.
2. Laboratory Glassware Manufacturing and Repair: Manufacture and repair of borosilicate glass and quartz laboratory apparatus, including condensers, distillation units, a comprehensive range of quartz apparatus, and complete vacuum systems.
3. Consultation and Technical Support: Professional guidance on the design, fabrication, and procurement of laboratory glassware to meet specific research and laboratory needs.

Electronics Shop

The Science Electronics Shop provides electronics support to researchers and teachers throughout the Faculty of Science and to the expanded University community. The Electronics Shop provides a diverse complement of skills such as design, fabrication and troubleshooting to help you complete your project.  Our Technologists have experience in the university setting and a thorough understanding of research needs.
