This May, we launched our 2030 Strategic Plan, Get Science Done.

Developed in consultation with hundreds of industry partners, faculty, and students, this bold plan is all about serving our community and tackling today’s biggest challenges with the power of science.

With funding in Alberta Budget 2024, it’s official – we’re going to be home to one of the most advanced science buildings in the world.

The new Multidisciplinary Science Hub will have a transformative impact on Alberta’s economy and innovation ecosystem for decades to come.

Not only will this new building add over 2,000 STEM student seats, it will provide game-changing research capability in key areas like energy, agriculture, aerospace, quantum, and beyond.
