Engineers Without Borders celebrates Fair Trade on campus
Students on the Fair Trade Team of the University of Calgary Engineers Without Borders chapter have organized a week to celebrate Fair Trade from March 25-28.
Currently working toward certifying the University of Calgary as a Fair Trade Campus, the Fair Trade Team hopes to promote a cultural awareness for sustainable consumption. There is a growing movement towards Fair Trade in campuses all over Canada, and we hope to contribute to establishing the university as a leader in sustainability.
Free fair trade tea and coffee will be handed out throughout the week at activities each day.
