This year, the Faculty of Science, Libraries & Cultural Resources, and President's Office, General Council, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Social Work, Information Technologies, UC International, the Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning, and Faculty of Kinesiology are joining together to bring you amazing fundraisers: Cozy Island and Wonders of Fermentation Island survivors, as well as a a 50/50 draw on Treasure Island.
Play one game or all three - it's up to you!
To participate, you must be 18+ and reside in Alberta. Ticket sales will run online, so you need a credit or debit card with an Alberta address. Winners of the Survivor games will be announced in December, and the 50/50 draw winner will be announced on November 29.
Hygge Survivor on Cozy Island
The seasons are changing...are you ready for hygge evenings and weekends? Cozy island is filled with all the warm, comfortable things that bring hygge into your life - woolly socks, handknit mittens, warm tea and hot chocolate, candles, delicious non-perishable snacks and candies, good books, and more...

From Monday Oct 31 to Friday November 25, drop off new cozy things at one of the following locations (minimum value of $5-10). Be sure to include your name and email address!

After the 25th, the island closes and ticket sales will begin shortly afterward (you'll be notified by email). One ticket = one life. Lots of tickets = lots of lives. Players must have brought an item to the island to buy tickets.
1 ticket for $5 (1 life)
10 tickets for $10 (10 lives)
50 tickets for $20 (50 lives)
200 tickets for $50 (200 lives)
Last people standing
In December (date TBA), we begin drawing names to eliminate players from the island. The last three survivors take a share of the prize pool.
3rd person standing receives 20% of the prize pool
2nd person standing receives 30% of the prize pool
1st person standing receives 50% of the prize pool
