The Innovation Postdoctoral Fellowship Program – Translating research into impact

Please note, this year, applications from the Cumming School of Medicine, the Faculty of Science, and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine will be accepted.

Innovation is considered in the broadest sense and may pertain to research, teaching, service, or it may occur across these spaces or in ones not mentioned here. We invite you to share all forms of impact and why your project is innovative.

The deadline for submission is May 26, 2025, at 8:00 am MST.

3. Innovation Accomplishments

1. Provide a description of your work that details your innovation activities to date. Please note, this response should be backwards looking – focusing on your achievements and the impact of your past innovations – rather than a forward-looking proposal that describes what you will do in your future endeavors.

2. Tell us why you feel your accomplishments are innovative (please provide evidence). What area of innovation are you working in (e.g., technological, social innovation)?

3. What has been the impact of your innovation activities?

(800 words maximum).

4. Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility

Describe the ways in which EDIA has played a part in your innovation activities, i.e. how was EDIA considered or incorporated in the development of your past innovations? (200 word maximum).

5. Letter of Support

Please provide a signed letter of support for your supervisor that details your innovation(s).
