What's available?

Exchange programs are usually 1-2 semesters in length, with academic courses transferred into your degree program.

Group study programs are intensive, immersive experiences led by a UCalgary instructor. Travel with a group to complete UCalgary courses abroad for a truly ‘off-campus’ experience or complete hybrid or virtual programs.

Research placements and internships vary in length but typically take place over 6-12 weeks. Under the supervision of an experienced faculty member, participate in novel research in your field. Most research placements are experience-based and do not offer academic credit.

UGo virtual opportunities

UCalgary Global Online (UGo) programs include exchange, group immersive study, internships, and research options in accessible online formats. Opportunities are available year-round!
