Workshop
The Workshop has highly skilled technicians who have access to an excellent complement of machine tools providing complete CNC and manual machine shop services, computer-aided design and welding. The technical staff have experience on campus and a thorough knowledge of University needs. Assistance can be provided at any stage of a project, from design through selection of materials and process of fabrication.
Glass Shop
The service offered by the Glass Shop include 1) design and creation of custom research equipment, 2) manufacture and repair of borosilicate and quartz laboratory apparatus - including condensers, distillation units, quartz dewars, and complete vacuum systems and 3) consultation on the design, manufacturing or purchase of laboratory glassware.
Electronics Shop
The Science Electronics Shop provides electronics support to researchers and teachers throughout the Faculty of Science and to the expanded University community. The Electronics Shop provides a diverse complement of skills such as design, fabrication and troubleshooting to help you complete your project. Our Technologists have experience in the university setting and a thorough understanding of research needs.
