Welcome to the Science Workshop

The Science Workshop provides technical support to many researchers and teachers in the Faculty of Science, in addition to other University units. The Workshop has four highly skilled technicians who have access to an excellent complement of machine tools providing complete CNC and manual machine shop services, Computer-Aided Design and welding. The technical staff have experience on campus and a thorough knowledge of University needs. Assistance can be provided at any stage of a project, from design through selection of materials and process of fabrication. The department also operates a technical stores area, giving the Faculty easy access to a wide variety of hardware, fasteners, metals, plastics, etc.
