Brian Grant Undergraduate Philosophy Essay Contest

We invite continuing University of Calgary undergraduate students to participate in our annual philosophy essay contest (approx. $1,000 value).

Are you especially proud of a paper you wrote for an undergraduate philosophy course? A little revising, a little reworking, and you may just have this year's winning entry! Is there a topic in philosophy that you're passionate about, and haven't had a chance to share your thoughts? This is your chance!

Entrants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the award:

• Minimum 3.00 GPA
• 24 units completed in Fall 2019/Winter 2020
• Continuing full-time in Fall 2020

Submit your essay (max 1,000 words on a topic in philosophy) by April 10, 2020 to phildept@ucalgary.ca.
