Dean Sandra Davidson receives Career Virtuoso Award from Lethbridge College

Dr. Sandra Davidson will be honoured later this spring as a recipient of the 2019 Lethbridge College Honouring Excellence Career Virtuoso Award. Davidson, who is dean of UCalgary Nursing and a professor at the University of Calgary, received her nursing diploma from the college in 1994 and then moved on to complete degrees at the University of Lethbridge and Gonzaga University.

Presented to an alumnus who has made significant contributions to her professional field through diligence, talent and dedication, Lethbridge College cites Career Virtuoso Award winners as “the inventors, creators and leaders who find new paths to excellence and bring prominence to their chosen fields.”

Davidson says, “Lethbridge College ignited my passion for the pursuit of nursing excellence. It also taught me the importance of the student experience.”

The 2019 Honouring Excellence award celebration will be held on April 25th at Lethbridge College.
