Professor to appear before Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans

Professor Martin Olszynski will be appearing before the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans on Monday, October 31. Martin will be testifying about the 2012 changes to the habitat protection provisions of the Fisheries Act, which he examined in his 2015 article: "From 'Badly Wrong' to Worse: An Empirical Analysis of Canada's New Approach to Fish Habitat Protection Laws" (2015) 28(1) J. Env. L. & Prac. 1 The Committee's review is part of a broader review by the federal government of Canada's environmental law regime.
