Professor appointed to NAFTA Chapter 19 (Trade Remedies) roster

Professor Cathy Brown has been appointed to the NAFTA Chapter 19 (Trade Remedies) roster, part of the NAFTA Secretariat. The NAFTA Secretariat is a unique organization established pursuant to Article 2002 of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and is responsible for the administration of the dispute settlement provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement. It administers the mechanisms specified under the NAFTA to resolve trade disputes between national industries and/or governments in a timely and impartial manner. The secretariat is made up of members for Canada, the US and Mexico. Cathy will serve on the roster for 10 years.
