Professor joins international environmental protection commission

Dr. Elizabeth Whitsitt has been appointed to the Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC) Joint Public Advisory Committee (JPAC). JPAC is comprised of 15 members from three different countries who advise the environmental heads of Canada, the US and Mexico on behalf matters within the scope of the North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation. Dr. Whitsitt is in Mexico City next week to attend the 26th regular session of CEC Council and Meeting of JPAC. These meetings will be live streamed at  www.cec.org/webcast.
