Professor receives LCO funding for Defamation Law project
Professor Emily Laidlaw has received funding from the Law Commission of Ontario to write research papers for the Defamation Law in the Age of the Internet project.
Professor Emily Laidlaw has received funding from the Law Commission of Ontario (LCO) to write research papers for the Defamation Law in the Age of the Internet project. Emily was one of fiver researchers chosen for the project, and will write the following papers:
- Are we asking too much from defamation law? Reputation Systems, ADR, Industry Regulation and other Extra-Judicial Possibilities for Protecting Reputation in the Internet Age.
- Internet Intermediary Liability for Online Defamation.
