Professor receives research grant from Foundation for Legal Research
Professor Shaun Fluker has received a $5000 research grant from the Foundation for Legal Research to conduct doctrinal and statutory research on the law governing leave to appeal decisions by Canadian superior courts concerning an appeal of a statutory tribunal decision.
Professor Shaun Fluker has received a $5000 research grant from the Foundation for Legal Research to conduct doctrinal and statutory research on the law governing leave to appeal decisions by Canadian superior courts concerning an appeal of a statutory tribunal decision. The overall objective of the research project is to identify notable trends and patterns in this area of law across jurisdictions and statutory regimes, and shed some new light on this important gatekeeping function administered by the judiciary. The work will be conducted in the summer of 2016.
